If you’re experiencing odors coming from your water or if your water is leaving stains or mineral build-up and spotting, a water system can help get rid of those problems. If you have any of these, we recommend purchasing a water system.
Identify if the odor is coming from hot or cold water. If the smell is only present in your hot water, that would indicate a hot-water tank issue — probably an anode rod. If the smell is present in cold water, then it is coming from your well and your water should be treated. If you’re unsure, give us a call and someone will come out to test your water.
A water analysis is the first and most important step in determining how to treat your water issues. A Water Treatment Specialist will test your water for hardness, iron, pH levels, chlorine, sulfur and more. A water analysis is FREE for new customers.
You can arrange to get a water analysis by calling either of our locations. Let us know you would like someone to come test your water.
Water Softening systems can last up to 20-25 years or longer, depending on your water issues and how well you maintain the system. Some systems need the media replaced every five years. For canister-type filters, it will depend on your water and how much water is used. They should be replaced at least once every year. Most RO filters will need to be changed every six months, and RO membranes every two or three years. Before changing out a membrane, we recommend you bring in a sample of your water.
Pricing for a water softener depends on which model you choose, the supplies you need for that system and the water issues you’re addressing. If you’d like to get a price for a water softener, or any other system, please give us a call. There are no obligations or commitments.
Financing is available for all water treatment systems.
